The first one

Well, we thought we would try this out, since it is so fun seeing our family and friends blogs. We hope this will be a good to allow you all to see how we are doing and what is new in our family. So far we are all doing well here in Machesney park IL.

Daddy is still training for the sprint triathlon that Uncle Darek talkied him into doing. He is just hoping not to have a massive heart attack during the swim. If he can get that part done he feels he can pedel and walk the rest. His goal is to finish before the sun goes down. It should be fun. We are more excited about coming to Utah to visit you all while Daddy competes. Daddy is also working hard in the ER and is having fun at times. Daddy's current project, begun today, is painting the garage.

Mommy is still being the superstar in the family. She keeps our house in order, plays with Aidan and Nathan keeping them happy, and somehow finds the time and energy to keep Daddy in line. She is currently working on getting Nathan's first birthday ready. She is also working hard on getting Aidan prepared for pre-school. She is also doing a great job with her primary class, she enjoys teaching them every Sunday.

Aidan is just being Aidan. He is always energetic and happy. He is learning opposites, differences, and of course new words. He recently used superficially, it was funny. His superficial wounds from his fall on the concrete are healing well. This is how he learned his newest word. He is becoming the wiz kid on the computer as well. He can navigate himself through his internet games with ease. His favorite website is PBS Kids. He recently went to see the new Night of Meusem movie with mommy on a date night, he also was able to go out to eat at his favorite place, "the chicken and fry store" (McDonalds). Now he wants to go on "date night" every night.

Nathan is doing well. He is running now, yeah we said running. We think he learned how to dance to get away from Aidan j/k. He is getting into everything and is having a ball doing it. He and Aidan play very well together. He loves playing with his older brother Aidan. He loves playing outside. When he hears the door open he goes running and then cries if he doesn't get to go outside. He loves the little swim pool and sand box. He turns a lot of heads when he walks/runs in public places, everyone coments on how cute he looks, and of course ask how old he is. They are shocked when we tell them he is 11 months, not because that is too early to walk/run, but more because he looks like he is still 6 months. Yeah he is a little guy but we love him. He and Aidan bring all the joy into our home.

Together we are all doing well and love to be together. It is never a dull moment in the Giles home.
